Security whilst placing orders with us

We have taken every step to ensure that your time on our website is as secure as possible. 

Firstly, we will never give or sell your information to anyone. Obviously your name, delivery address and a contact telephone number (which is only used in the event of a problem arising with your delivery) have to appear on address labels to ensure delivery of your order. 

We do not have access to your credit/debit/bank details, except if you choose to pay for your order over the telephone. If you do, that information is not stored or saved in any way once the payment has been processed by ourselves, and we use SagePay (now called Elevon) for processing through our own secure online terminal. We only offer payment options that we know are completely safe, and where your details are fully encrypted.

Our website displays the padlock sign in your browser address bar; this shows that our site is a secure site in the eyes of search engines. We are also PCI compliant (Payment Card Industry) and we have to undergo this compliance each and every year to satisfy the banks and the likes of Visa and Mastercard that we take every step in processing any data securely and in an encrypted way.

But we know that some of you may still be reluctant to provide information over the Internet, so we are very happy to take your order and payment information over the telephone. However, if we take payments over the telephone, we are only able to deliver the order to the registered card address.

Please remember to obey a few basic guidelines when shopping online:-

  1.        Do not give card details over the telephone if in a public place or when someone you do not know may be listening.
  2.        Ensure that the website displays a secure symbol.
  3.        Make sure that your anti-virus protection is up to date.
  4.        If creating accounts, use strong passwords.
  5.        Don’t use public WIFI when making payments online or entering sensitive information.

We also accept payments through Paypal and in most instances customers have full redress through them. Bank transfer is yet another option that we offer for customers who are happier controlling the payment process. In the event of choosing Bank Transfer, customers will receive an order acknowledgement after they have placed their order; this will have our bank details to enable you to make payment. Orders will begin processing once the payment has been confirmed by our bank.

You may have noticed at the top of our website that you can select from a range of currencies to display when looking through our products. Although being based in the United Kingdom, and our prices are set to display in £GBP, we do trade globally; and are happy to accept orders from almost anywhere in the world. At the moment you can choose from £GBP, Euro and American Dollar. Whilst the prices displayed are as accurate as we can make them (we update exchange rates daily and automatically), the exchange rate that your bank or credit card company may use could vary very slightly to ours. Payments by Bank Transfer, or cheque can only be accepted in £GBP
